Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American broadcast journalist who was previously an official of the government. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, which is a think tank for conservatives.



 



 Prior to becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump administration from March 2018 until October 2018. Nauert was named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
